AXIAL FLUX ELECTRIC MOTOR

At Blowind, we have developed several R&D lines focused on improving energy efficiency in electric mobility.

Among these initiatives, a notable development was an axial-flux electric motor/generator concept incorporating high-temperature superconducting (HTS) coils, designed to reduce the electrical energy required to deliver the same power output while increasing power and torque density. This development formed part of a technological research line linked to electric mobility and enabled Blowind to consolidate its internal capabilities in electromagnetic design, applied superconductivity, cryogenics, vacuum systems, and advanced simulation. Currently, Blowind’s strategic focus is centred on intelligent charging infrastructure solutions, although this development remains part of the company’s technological and innovative DNA.
